When there finally was an opportunity for Katie Krafchick to compete during the 2020 season, which was nearly decimated by the COVID-19 pandemic, she made the most of it. Wow. What a whirlwind of a year it has been with the culmination of the World Championships in Stockholm Sweden. A huge applause to all of the skaters who competed. With varying degrees of rink closures, it was great to see everyone come together for this event.

Today a skater’s normal is being enclosed inside a climate controlled rink, but that’s a recent development in skating history.
